The fork wings were introduced by Aprilia and then used by Ducati. Now, they’re also on the RC213V but in a different position compared to the Italian bikes.

Wings on forks are certainly nothing new in the MotoGP. The first constructor to introduce them was Aprilia, then followed by Ducati. Honda also revealed its interpretation of this appendagen during the Sepang Shakedowns.

The Japanese technicians, unlike what the Italians did, applied the two aero pieces on the front fender and not on the fork, so in a slightly lower position. Both Joan Mir and Luca Marini tested this set-up.
