These days, on social networks, riders and other world championship stars have been live on video. A nice chance for fans to satisfy their curiosities about their favorite champions.
Marc Marquez also decided to chat with his fans on Instagram and didn't hold back when answering questions, even the thorniest ones.
Like when they asked him who he considered the best rider between Rossi and Stoner.
“The best is Valentino Rossi, by number of titles. In the end, we always look at the list of winners and the world championships," was his answer. "But Stoner was a thoroughbred with an incredible talent and he was always at the limit."
The Doctor had been Marc's idol when he was young. And now?
“In the end, you have to separate things ," he explained. "What Valentino is doing is incredible. He continues to be a reference point, like Dani Pedrosa had been. It's important to have references to imitate them.”
Marc also listed his toughest rivals in the various categories.
"Nico Terol in the 125, and Pol Espargarò in the Moto2 ," he recalled. "In the MotoGP, Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa, and Andrea Dovizioso, from whom I learned a lot, especially how to manage a race."
He was also asked if he thinks two races over one weekend were possible, like in the SBK.
Marquez didn't seem very enthusiastic. “We could, but I don't think we will. Dorna is trying to fix the calendar."
